The lifelike profile and design allows the Bulldozer to sit  super low on the water surface which makes it very much like a newly downed adult stonefly and makes it an easy target. If you're getting rejections on the Steamroller try the Bulldozer with its lower riding style. The Bulldozer can be an overperforming pattern when fished in slower pools along the banks where stonefly shucks are visible .
