We decided to turn that guide favorite into a Green Drake pattern and we made the right decision. With the action of the soft hackle partridge collar, and the flash back running along the backside, this fly is our first choice when the big green mayflies are getting ready to emerge. Fish it along the banks where those Drakes are often found.
